Scheduled or elapsed time
The time from the start of a shift to its end, including any break inside that span.
Unpaid break time
Break minutes entered for subtraction only after their treatment has been confirmed.
Net worked time
Elapsed shift minutes minus entered unpaid-break minutes, totalled across active days.
What the calculator can total
Seven active-day choices
Enable only the days worked and enter one or two shifts for each active day.
Overnight shifts
Mark “Ends next day” so an earlier clock time is treated as the next calendar day.
User-selected threshold
Separate time above a chosen number of hours without claiming those hours are legally overtime.
Important: Break entitlements, paid-time rules, overtime thresholds, daily limits and recordkeeping requirements differ by province, territory, federal coverage, occupation and agreement. This calculator totals user-entered time; it does not determine legal compliance.
