WageWise Canada Authors and Reviewers
Who owns our content, how calculator and guide reviews work, and what we disclose before publishing a named professional profile.
Current disclosure
WageWise Canada content is currently produced and maintained by the WageWise Canada editorial team. We do not publish invented bylines, reviewer names, professional credentials or endorsements. Named profiles will be added only after identity, role, credentials, consent and review responsibility are verified.
Editorial responsibilities
- Define each page’s jurisdiction, scope and intended user question.
- Use primary government and legislative sources for employment-standards rules.
- Separate arithmetic estimates from statutory entitlements.
- Record the last review date, next scheduled review and review scope.
- Maintain test fixtures for calculator engines and publish material updates in the update history.
How calculator review works
- Scope review: identify supported and excluded scenarios.
- Source review: map every rule to an official source and effective date.
- Logic review: implement a separate calculation or routing engine.
- Fixture review: test normal, boundary, invalid and excluded cases.
- Presentation review: verify labels, assumptions, explanations, keyboard use and mobile layout.
- Release review: log the change and set the next review date.
Future named profiles
A named author or reviewer profile will state the person’s real name, relevant role, verified credentials where applicable, areas of responsibility, review date and any material conflict of interest. A name will not be displayed merely to create an appearance of authority.
